This was probably our most fun rehab, ever! We decided to be extremely creative and cater to the neighborhood. In the beginning stages during demo and planning, we noticed the community was filled with the cutest dogs! Every one was always out walking with their furry friends, no matter the weather. We decided to incorporate some fun and useful dog features in our newly finished basement. We also opened up the previous galley kitchen, added a range hood, farmhouse sink, quartz counters and two-tone cabinets that were my favorite! One of our favorite rehabs to date. We completely finished the basement, added a full bathroom and another bedroom with an egress window.The existing fireplace was an eye sore, so we covered it in shiplap to give it some life. We remodeled this beauty from top to bottom and she went pending in one day!
This was our first rehab where we completely switched rooms around. When we purchased it, the kitchen was a tiny square area. The space the previous owners used as their dining area was a lot more spacious. We decided to flip flop rooms. It took detailed planning and different layouts to make it work. The windows in our "new" kitchen weren't counter height, so essentially we had to put our kitchen on two walls only. It turned out beautifully. We also incorporated some fun accent colors and details in this home. It was definitely the most charming cape cod on the block!
This was our largest project that we've ever completed. We gutted the previous master bathroom and created an en-suite that dreams are made of! We also completely remodeled the other two bathrooms, kitchen and installed new flooring throughout. There was a built-in desk in the kitchen that we decided to remove and create a coffee bar area with a mini fridge instead. The AC went out on us during the rehab (in the thick of summer), so a new AC unit was mandatory. On the outside, a new deck was built. That backyard is so spacious and the perfect place to host summer time barbecues!
This was our first rehab that had an inground pool, which might have been our toughest project to date! Turning that black swamp into a crystal blue oasis was not easy, but worth it!
